OUR TEAM
We founded Just Streets to bring justice to our communities. Across the United States, civil and criminal law converge to criminalize poverty. The current system affords police the legal ability to harass our most vulnerable, and the discretion to do so with a racial bent. We believe the Greater Boston Area is a microcosm of these bad laws. Just Streets was formed to fight these laws, and exists at the intersection of policy and protest.
Eva Jungreis
Founder and Executive Director
Eva Jungreis is a Young Leadership Associate with a global Jewish nonprofit, where she works collaboratively with the New England region and international team to develop and expand joint advocacy and diplomatic opportunities. In her spare time, she sits on the Steering Committee of The Every Voice Coalition, which brings together students, advocates and universities to fight sexual violence on campus. Eva graduated in May from Boston University with studies in Behavioral Economics and Business Administration. During her time at Boston University, she served on the Executive Boards of both her Student Government and College Democrats, conducted funded research into human-machine strategic interaction, and co-led her school in the Up to Us Campaign, a fiscal policy awareness competition — in which she placed 4th out of over 125 schools nation-wide. Eva is passionate about the intersection of economic policy with criminal justice and social welfare.
